Aray Brown, a 37 unemployed scribe writes about real issues that plague our society in her new book "Expressions Of Me" a collection of poems that also tell a tale of love, heartache, fear, redemption and hope. Aray drew from her many experiences growing up when she was forced to live with her abusive grandmother for three years while her mother was in prison. During that time she attempted to write a tell all book about the life and times she spent with her. Ever since she could remember she always wanted to be a writer but didn't dabble into poetry until later. She describes her work as " a special story that needs to be told, and I'm grateful to God for allowing me to be the voice behind it" She is currently residing in Louisville, Ky and working on her second book.
