It's A Marathon Not A Sprint

Happy Thursday people!  Hope ya'll are off to a great start x
Do what you love and love what you do..and if you happen to get paid in the process it's all for the better.

I'm finishing up the third draft of my short,  Black Lives Matter (RIP to LOU, changed the title cause it fits in with the theme of the movie. Corrrrrrrrrdinate!) , and plan on getting a film crew so we can shoot it next month.  So we can get this baby to the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and..win! Of course win, I mean what other alternative would there be?  All joking aside, I'm hella HELLA excited.
I'm sure there will backlash because of the issue it tackles but I'm sure there was some backlash for Free State Of Jones but that didn't stop Matthew Mcconaughey or the director from taking care of business and doing what they wanted to do.
I'm sure there were a plethora of movies that are involved as well.  But it's a small thing to a giant.  I'm not being full of myself, i'm just keeping it a 1000% real.    Love me or hate me.

I'll be on the lookout for local talent..

On the pilot writing front, NEXT OF KIN is still going strong.  I'm getting closer to finishing it.  Thank you Jesus!  I'm easily distracted and need to put my tablet down from time to time.  I listen to a lot of August Alsina when I write which helps me to stop overthinking...but then it's not an exact science.

Regarding BLOOD OF SECRETS, i'm still undecided.  I have two ideas for two separate stories, different beginnings but the middle and the end are the same.  And you know what they say about writing the same shit, soooooooooooo...i don't know.  If it's meant to be, it'll be.  If not, you'll see my work on the screen instead of in bookstores.
